Bayer Butyl
II – Halogenation Unit
·
The Bayer Butyl II Capacity Increase project was a major
expansion at the Butyl site.
·
We supplied and installed two packaged rooftop units and
three make up air units.
·
Two large capacity utility set fans were required for
process exhaust and had to be coated with an Eisenheiss coating.
·
The ductwork for the process exhaust was Fibre Reinforced
Plastic which we supplied and installed.
·
Six steam unit heaters were required to heat the railcar
area.
·
In addition to the FRP ductwork there was 3600 lbs of
galvanized ductwork and some spiral.
·
Our scope also included all plumbing, steam piping, and
process piping.
Bayer
Substation 19 & North MCC
·
This project involved the construction of a new MCC building
and a substation.
·
The MCC building required three wall mount Liebert A/C units
complete with electric heaters.
·
The Substation was heated and cooled using a packaged
rooftop unit.
Bayer

Built in 1997 this building is the main men’s and
women’s change facility for the Bayer site.
·
This large scale project involved steam and hot water
