Bayer Butyl II Ė Halogenation Unit

The Bayer Butyl II Capacity Increase project was a major expansion at the Butyl site.

We supplied and installed two packaged rooftop units and three make up air units.

Two large capacity utility set fans were required for process exhaust and had to be coated with an Eisenheiss coating.

The ductwork for the process exhaust was Fibre Reinforced Plastic which we supplied and installed.

Six steam unit heaters were required to heat the railcar area.

In addition to the FRP ductwork there was 3600 lbs of galvanized ductwork and some spiral.

Our scope also included all plumbing, steam piping, and process piping.

Bayer Substation 19 & North MCC

This project involved the construction of a new MCC building and a substation.

The MCC building required three wall mount Liebert A/C units complete with electric heaters.

The Substation was heated and cooled using a packaged rooftop unit.

Bayer Central Change Facility

Built in 1997 this building is the main menís and womenís change facility for the Bayer site.

This large scale project involved steam and hot water systems, below grade and above grade plumbing, and drainage.

The H.V.A.C. systems required 12,000 lbs of ductwork.
